- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★On March 21st I had to suddenly go via ems to morganton hospital leaving my faithful companion of 6 years named Leroy with only enough time to leave only a minimal amount of food & water. I had no idea @ the time I would end up knowing I would end up being admitted. After being put in contact with Burke County Sheriff Animal Control; Lt. Massey wasted no time in paying me a visit. After some time of conversation together they wasted no time in rescuing Leroy who is somewhat protective & territorial of his home. The team very professionally & dedicated removed him to there facility taking care of his every need until we were able to be reunited together again.
